Amped Labs succesfully completes short term critical sun consulting engagement for Sun Appserver 8.1 installation and trouble shooting in Tuscon Arizona.

Answering the call for help with a Sun Appserver 8.1 installation in Tuscon, Arizona, Amped Labs responded quickly, qualifying members of the consulting team for the Sun Consulting partnership. After a background check and 3 phone tech interviews by CSC, Sun and the Sun Customer, a Senior Amped Labs Java EE5 Consultant, well versed in Sun Appserver 8.1 trouble shooting, flew to Tuscon.

"The client was very pleased," Reported the Sun Professional Service representative. "All the major issues were resolved with in a week."

The Amped Labs consultant was able to identify key points of failure with a corporate SSO product, and several Java SDK library problems porting custom applications from Tomcat 5.0 to the Sun Appserver.  The cognos 7.0 version of the xerces libraries were upgraded to version 8.0 to resolve basic incompatabilities with the Sun Appserver 8.1.

Amped Labs consulting provided the development team with a basic installation of the SLAMD test server to begin conducting preformance tests and gathering results with the new Sun Appserver 8.1 deployment.
